HOW IT HAPPENED
- To open the game, Bo Dean (Toronto, Ontario) set the momentum for the Ravens, scoring her first goal in the first minute of the game.
- Later in the first period, Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.) was able to find the back of the net, off a pass from Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.).
- In the second period, Dean would find her second goal of the night, followed by Sophia Prentice (Massena, N.Y.) scoring her first collegiate goal.
- In the third period, Maggie Korneta (Naperville, Ill.) would find the top corner of the net, bringing the score to 5-0 over the Purple Knights.
- To end the game, Dean scored her thrid goal of the night, marking her first career hat trick. The shutout win for Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) breaks the career shutout program in program history, adding to Hertl's resume.
