HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite strong offense for the Ravens, the Purple Knights were able to keep the score tied at 0-0. However, the second period showed 4 goals from the Ravens.
- Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.) was able to score quickly to start the period by a pass from Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.).
- Later in the period, Bo Dean (Toronto, Ontario) would find the back of the net two times in a row. Murphy would find the net on her own after that, extending the Ravens to lead 4-0 over the Purple Knights.
- In the third period, the Purple Knights would score, cutting down some of the Ravens' lead. However, in an attempt to gain an advantage on the Ravens by pulling the goalie, Hailey Anderson (Greer, S.C.) would score on an empty net, securing the weekend sweep over Saint Michael's.
