PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (1/4/26) – The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team dropped an NE10 road contest at Pace University, 78–46, on Saturday afternoon at the Goldstein Athletics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Franklin Pierce opened the afternoon with solid energy and traded baskets early, with Viktar Kachalouski (Brest, Belarus) knocking down a pair of first-half three-pointers to keep the Ravens within striking distance. Pace answered with strong interior play and second-chance opportunities to take a 30–24 lead into halftime.
  • The Setters came out of the break on an offensive surge, shooting efficiently and capitalizing on turnovers to quickly extend their lead. Pace poured in 48 second-half points, including multiple runs fueled by fast-break finishes and points in the paint, to pull away.
  • Despite the deficit, the Ravens continued to battle, with Raymond Baka (Atlanta,Ga.) scoring consistently inside and at the free-throw line, while Dylan Goodman (Long Island, N.Y.) added scoring off the bench. Pace maintained control throughout the second half to secure the 78–46 final.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
  • Raymond Baka led Franklin Pierce with 16 points and six rebounds, shooting 5-of-11 from the field and 6-of-6 at the line.
  • As a team, Franklin Pierce shot 17-of-56 (30.4%) from the floor and 4-of-16 (25.0%) from three.
