WORCESTER, Mass. (1/24/26) - In a close game against Assumption, the Ravens battled with the Greyhounds after a 0-2 loss in the previous game. Even though the Greyhounds sent the game into overtime, the Ravens were able to secure in a shootout win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ravens opened the first period within two minutes of each other. Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) scored the first goal of the game off a pass from Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.). A little later, Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) netted a goal of her own, putting up two goals over the Greyhounds.
- In the second period, Ava McGaffigan responded for Assumption, cutting the deficit in half. However, Bo Dean (Toronto, Ontario) kept the lead for the Ravens after taking the puck down the ice and firing it past Jadyn Weiser.
- The Greyhounds were able to push the game into overtime, evening the score to 3-3. Both teams had their chances in overtime, but the game led to a shootout. With Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) holding firm and another goal from Dean, the Ravens were able to split the NEWHA series.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
