Men’s Basketball Falls to Southern New Hampshire, 89-74

RINDGE, N.H. (1/21/2026) - Franklin Pierce men's basketball dropped a Northeast-10 contest against Southern New Hampshire University Wednesday night, falling 89-74 at The Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Penmen built an early advantage with efficient shooting knowcking down nine three-pointers in the first half. While SNHU found strong shooting and held defensive pressure on key players for the Ravens, Franklin Pierce struggled to find consistent scoring early, falling behind as Southern New Hampshire maintained momentum. The Ravens went into halftime trailing 48-31 despite offensive efforts from Beni Lavodrama and Erick Perez
  • In the second half, the Ravens battled back with contributions from Perez and Anthony Parker to cut into the deficit. The Penmen were able to answer, extending their lead and controlling the pace of the game by forcing key turnovers and capitalizing at the free throw line. Despite late efforts from Franklin Pierce's offense, Southern New Hampshire kept the advantage and sealed the 89-74 win.

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS

  • Erick Perez led the Ravens with 13 points and 5 rebounds, closely followed by Anthony Parker with 11 points and 4 assists.
