RINDGE, N.H. (1/13/26) – The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team led for much of the opening half and traded punches down the stretch, but ultimately fell to Saint Michael's College, 78–72, in a closely contested Northeast-10 Conference matchup Tuesday night at The Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce opened the game with an 11–3 run, sparked by early baskets from Anthony Parker (Middletown, Conn.) and Raymond Baka (Atlanta, Ga.), to take control in the opening minutes. The Ravens led for most of the first half, pushing their advantage to double digits late in the period. A three-pointer from Parker with under two minutes remaining helped Franklin Pierce take a 41–32 lead into halftime.
- Saint Michael's opened the second half on a run to cut into the deficit and tied the game midway through the period. The Purple Knights took their first lead of the night with under eight minutes remaining, setting up a back-and-forth finish.
- Franklin Pierce regained the lead on multiple occasions, including a fast-break dunk by Baka and a three from Parker. With 1:45 left, Parker connected from beyond the arc to tie the game at 72–72.
- Saint Michael's closed the final minute at the free-throw line, scoring the final six points, while the Ravens were unable to convert on their last possessions, resulting in a 78–72 loss.
