MANSFIELD, Mass. (5/22/25) - Junior Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) and senior Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's golf team have been named to the 2024-25 Northeast-10 All-Conference Teams, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Saffell earned NE10 Second Team honors for the first time in his career, wrapping up a strong junior season highlighted by a trip to the NCAA Regional Tournament as an individual qualifier. Over 20 rounds this season, he averaged a score of 77.0. His most notable performance came at the Penmen Spring Invitational, where he fired a career-low round of six-under par and earned co-medalist honors.
Wurszt, a senior and NE10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year nominee, was selected to the NE10 Third Team. He concluded his collegiate career with a 78.3 scoring average over 20 rounds. In his final tournament with the Ravens, Wurszt shot a season-best two-under-par, placing eighth overall.
