Led by Seth Saffell's third place individual finish, the Franklin Pierce men's golf team took 5th place out of 7 teams at the Northeast 10 Championship this week. After a solid first round, the team could not find their groove, finishing +57 over three rounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Seth Saffell finished strong for the Ravens, with a third place individual finish. Saffell put up a strong showing, finishing 73-74-69—216 (+3) on the par 213 course. Over the three rounds, he posted 10 birdies and shot even with par 31 times. His consistency on the course improved over the three rounds.
- Albert Kim finished 83-76-73—232 (+19) over the three rounds, and showed consistent improvement over the three rounds. Kim shot 6 birdies and had his best 9 on the front end of round three, finishing just one over par.
- Ian Dunham finished next for the Ravens, shooting 76-78-79—233 (+20). With five birdies and 20 bogeys, Dunham tied for 21st at the tournament.
- Rounding out the top 30 was Matt Weed who took 27th place. Weed had three birdies and an eagle, finishing the tournament 74-77-87—238 (+25).
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will round out their fall tournament next weekend at the Post Eagles Invitational. They will travel to Watertown Golf Course in Waterbury Connecticut October 13-14.
