The Ravens wasted no time getting on the board, striking for four runs in the top of the first inning. Sophomore right fielder Michael Quiros (Springfield, Mass.) opened the scoring with an RBI double to left center that brought home redshirt sophomore catcher Brycen Tetler (Plymouth, Mass.). Senior second baseman Kiobel Lugo (Boston, Mass.) then drove in a run on a fielder's choice, before senior first baseman Anthony Marcano (Boston, Mass.) knocked an RBI double of his own. Graduate third baseman Julien Monks (Pacé, France) capped the early burst with an RBI single to make it 4-0 Franklin Pierce.
