HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Ravens responded nicely to begin the 2nd quarter. Senior midfielder Jackson Hale (Kensington, N.H.) got the scoring started by ripping a shot into the right corner of the goal to cut the deficit to 3-1. Then, junior attackmen Alex Costa (Billerica, Mass.) cut the Falcons lead to one. He had a Falcon defender draped all over him, but he managed to whip a shot into the left corner. The Falcons ended the 2nd quarter with a response as Charlie David capitalized to take the 4-2 lead into the halftime break.
- David Gagnon added his 2nd goal of the game on the man up to begin the 3rd quarter and take the 5-2 lead. However, the Ravens clawed back. Then, senior midfielder Brendan Spinale (Canton, Mass.) buried a shot just 12 seconds later right off the face-off to make it a one-goal game. The Falcons always seemed to have the answer, however. Hunter Smith scored on the man up and Will Adams scored his 2nd goal to give the Falcons the 7-4 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
