SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (12/13/2025) - The Franklin Pierce men's basketball team battled hard on the road Saturday afternoon but came up short, falling to American International College, 78-76 at Henry A. Butova Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce and American International traded baskets early, with neither team able to pull away with a strong lead. Behind solid offensive play from Anthony Parker, the Ravens were able to stay in reach, but AIC closed out the half on a late run to take a 36-29 lead going into the break.
- Following halftime, the Ravens came out aggressive. They were able to cut into the halftime deficit and keep the game close. Parker continued to lead the Ravens' offense, with contributions from Raymond Baka and Dylan Goodman, as well. Despite a late scoring push, the Ravens were unable to overcome the gap, falling 78-76,
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS:
- The Ravens shot 27-63 (42.9%) from the field, 7-26 (26.9%) from the 3 point line, and 15-21 from the free-throw line (71.4%).
- Parker led the Ravens with 29 points, followed by Baka with 13 and Goodman with 12.
- Franklin Pierce played the offensive transition well, with 13 points off turnovers and 6 fast break points.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will travel to Colchester, Vt. for a non-conference match-up at Saint Michael's College on Monday, December 15. They will tip off against the Purple Knights at 6:00 PM.
