Ravens Set for National Championship Showdown with Florida Tech

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (12/12/25) – The stage is set for the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Championship as the Franklin Pierce University Ravens square off against the Florida Tech Panthers on Saturday evening at Weidner Field.

The two programs met earlier this season and played to a drawn and now face off again with a national title on the line. The teams also last met during the 2008 season, with Florida Tech earning the win.

How They Got Here – Franklin Pierce

Franklin Pierce punched its ticket to the championship match with a 2-1 comeback victory over Washburn in the national semifinal. The Ravens scored twice in the span of one minute late in the match to erase a second-half deficit and secure their spot in the title game.

The Ravens enter the final with a 17-2-5 record, averaging 2.42 goals per game while allowing just 0.88. Franklin Pierce has totaled 58 goals on the season and leads its opponents in shots (446–207) and corner kicks (153–63).

How They Got Here – Florida Tech

Florida Tech advanced to the national championship following a 1-0 victory over Cal Poly Pomona in the semifinal. Sara Batchadji scored the match's lone goal in the 50th minute, lifting the Panthers into the title match.

The Panthers carry a 16-3-6 record into Saturday's final, averaging 1.76 goals per game and allowing just 0.72. Florida Tech has scored 44 goals this season while conceding only 18 and has recorded 10 shutouts.
