Targosz Nets First Collegiate Goal, Eno Earns First Shutout in 3–0 Win Over LIU

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. 11/8/25 - After a 0-2 loss to the Sharks in the first half of the series, the Ravens were out for the win. Melanie Targosz (Livonia, Mich.) contributed 1 goal and 2 assists throughout the game while Rylee Eno (Uxbridge, Ontario) earned her first collegiate shutout, lifting the Ravens above LIU, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Early in the first period, Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) would get sent to the penalty box for hooking, forcing the Ravens to take an early defensive stance.  
  • LIU was able to make 3 shots against Rylee Eno (Uxbridge, Ontario) but held firm even after an additional 8 shots in the first.  
  • In the second period, Maggie Korneta (Naperville, Ill.) would score her first goal of the season on a powerplay, sending the puck towards the net off a pass from Melanie Targosz (Livonia, Mich.). 
  • In the third, the Ravens would extend their lead on another powerplay opportunity when Targosz would find Mariana Valeri (South Lyon, Mich.) who was able to tap it towards Brynn Levinson (Glencoe, Ill.) for the second goal on the night. 
  • The Sharks tried to even the score by removing their goaltender, but Targosz would shoot from the goal line to earn her first collegiate goal.  
  • Targosz's offensive contributions and Eno's first career shutout earned the Ravens the 3-0 conference win over LIU. 
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS 
  • The Ravens outshot the Sharks 22 to 21. 
  • Levinson led the team with 5 shots. 
  • McKenzie Grimm (Connellsville, Pa.) had 2 blocks. 
  • Eno made 21 saves. 
  • Pierce went 2/4 on powerplays.
