WINCHENDON, Mass. (11/7/25) – The Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team opened Northeast 10 Conference play with a strong showing on home ice, defeating Southern New Hampshire University 3–1 on Friday afternoon at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ravens jumped ahead early with a pair of first-period goals. Nick Fish (Ashland, Mass.) got things rolling at 9:43 of the opening frame, finishing a setup from Max Christiansen (Ballston Spa, N.Y) and Sam Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) to make it 1–0.
- Franklin Pierce doubled its lead on the power play five minutes later when Mario Paganini (Harrison, N.Y) found the back of the net, assisted by Doug McGuire (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) and Austin Pick (Troutdale, Ore.), giving the Ravens a 2–0 advantage heading into the first intermission.
- Southern New Hampshire pulled within one late in the third period as Jeremy LaCroix scored his first collegiate goal at 14:41. The Ravens quickly regrouped and sealed the win when Paganini struck again for his second of the night, this time an empty-netter at 18:52 off assists from Fish and Pick.
