RINDGE, N.H. (11/30/2025) - Following a hard-fought scoreless first half, the Franklin Pierce women's soccer team took the 1-0 lead on a Jefferson own-goal in the 82nd minute to take the East Region title.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first 45 minutes of play saw solid Franklin Pierce possession, countered by strong defense by the Rams. With 8 shot opportunities by the Ravens, they were not able to find the back of the net. Franklin Pierce's defensive efforts held Jefferson to 2 shots in the first half.
- The second half was played similarly, featuring consistent passing by the Ravens that was halted before they had the chance to find the back of the net. In the 82nd minute, Olivia Crespo found Claudia Peirce in the middle of the field, who touched the ball wide to McKenna Maguire. Maguire looked to cross the ball back to Peirce, but instead found a Jefferson defender who tipped the ball into the net, giving the Ravens the 1-0 lead.
