WINCHENDON, Mass.(11/22/25) – The Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team capped a successful New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) weekend with a dominant 7-0 victory over Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon at The Winchendon School's Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce opened the scoring midway through the first period, when Emma Laroche fired a wrister from the slot that beat the goaltender at 8:17 to give the Ravens a 1-0 lead heading into the intermission.
- The Ravens blew the game open with a six-goal second period. Just 57 seconds into the frame, Mariana Valeri finished off a feed from Bo Dean and Melanie Targosz to double the advantage. Only eight seconds later, Addison Andre buried her first of the afternoon off a setup from Abigail Broz and Caleigh Murphy to make it 3-0. Andre struck again at 7:43 on a wrister from the slot, and Hailey Anderson extended the lead to 5-0 at 10:10, converting a passing play from Shayna Parry and Valeri. Andre completed her hat trick at 13:15, before Targosz capped the outburst with a power-play tally at 18:08 to push the margin to 7-0 after two.
- Franklin Pierce locked things down in the third, with Delaney Lawn turning aside all six shots she faced in relief of Rylee Eno to preserve the combined shutout.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
- The Ravens outshot the Purple Knights 44-25 overall and went 1-for-8 on the power play while holding Saint Michael's 0-for-9 with the extra skater.
- Andre recorded three goals, earning her first collegiate hattrick.
- Eno and Lawn combined for 25 saves in the shutout win.
