HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In the first period, the Ravens would find the back of the net early after Mariana Valeri (South Lyon, Mich.) easily found Bo Dean (Toronto, Ontario) for the shot, making the score 1-0.
  • The Ravens would go on a powerplay 4 times in the second. Kaydence Carpenter would be given a game misconduct and a major, while Lilly Hartnell would get called for body checking later in the penalty, making it 5 on 3 for the Ravens.
  • While they didn't succeed there, on another powerplay opportunity, Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) would send the puck to Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.), in front of the net, sending the puck right past the Purple Knights goalkeeper.
  •  With the Purple Knights in need of a goal to stay in the game, they would send 9 shots towards Rylee Eno (Uxbridge, Ontario) in the third period, but was able to save each shot, earning her second shutout of the season and securing the 2-0 win.

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
