Worcester, Mass. (11/15/2025) - In their last regular season match of the year, Franklin Pierce battled with Assumption, ultimately taking the game in 4 sets. After a close first set where the Ravens came out on top, Assumption battled back in the second, but Franklin Pierce was able pull off the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Through the majority of set 1, Franklin Pierce held the lead, but Assumption was able to keep it close. It wasn't until the Greyhounds' 18th point that Assumption was able to find a lead. The teams battled back and forth, and the Ravens took the set in extra points, 26-24. 
• The second set proved to be just as competitive as the first, with the Ravens and the Greyhounds taking turns leading the set. Assumption ultimately took the second set 25-23. 
• The Ravens picked up their momentum in the third set, never dropping the lead. Pierce went on a 6-point run, to widen the gap to 18-11, and kept it going through the end of the set. Back-to-back kills from Jayne Hiatt and a service ace by Annaka Lindstrom ended the third set 25-18. 
• The Ravens kept up steam in the fourth set, again never letting up the lead. The Ravens attack began with back-to-back kills by Avery Leblanc, and the match ended on an Assumption attack error. 

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS

• Lindstrom led the Ravens with a career high 47 assists. 
• Hiatt had 15 kills, closely followed by Katholiki Koukia's 13. 
• The Ravens had 13 aces to the Greyhounds' 5.
