NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (10/6//25) - Three Ravens earned NE10 Weekly Honors as Geno Facchetti (Wilbraham, Mass.) was named Defensive Player of the Week, Damir Stone (East Orange, N.J.) earned Special Teams Player of the Week for football, and Samantha Breton (Chicopee, Mass.) was recognized as Defensive Player of the Week for women's soccer after standout performances in their respective matchups.
Facchetti led the Ravens' defensive effort in a 30–20 win over AIC, recording eight tackles and two sacks to anchor a unit that totaled six sacks on the day. He also blocked a 24-yard field goal attempt in the first quarter, setting up a pivotal play for Franklin Pierce.
Stone capitalized on that moment, scooping up Facchetti's blocked kick and sprinting 82 yards for a touchdown that gave the Ravens an early 7-0 advantage. His special teams score proved to be the game's turning point as Franklin Pierce secured the NE10 victory.
Breton anchored a resilient back line for the women's soccer team, helping the Ravens go unbeaten on the week (1-0-2). She played all 270 minutes across three matches, contributing to a shutout against Assumption and assisting on the team's goal versus Florida Tech.
Both programs return to action this week against Saint Anselm. The women's soccer team visits the Hawks on Wednesday at 3 p.m., while the football team travels on Saturday for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
