Rindge, N.H. (10/4/2025) - In their first home match since their season opener, Franklin Pierce women's tennis beat Bentley 7-0, moving their conference record to 1-1. The team only let up one singles match, taking the first two and therefore the doubles point. In the singles matches, the Ravens proved dominant over the Falcons, winning all six.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ravens competed in three doubles spots, the first being Gabriela Yamate and Ainhoa Ordonez who only let up 2 points to their six. Ines Gabarro and Candela Tortosa took the second match 6-2, as well.
- In singles play, the Ravens earned their first point through Ines Gabarro in the first spot. Gabarro took the match in two sets, not allowing a single point against her.
- Sara Gonzalez won the second singles match, also in two sets. After winning the first set 6-4, she won the second 6-3.
- Gabriela Yamate lost the first set of her singles match, but quickly turned it around, winning the second and third sets 6-3.
- Candela Tortosa also dropped her first set to the Falcons, but was bale to come back winning the second and third 6-4 and 6-1, respectively.
- Ainhoa Ordonez picked proved to be a force on the court in the fifth singles set. Ordonez took the first set 6-1, and did not allow a point in the second set, to win her singles match.
- Ana Munoz picked up the final point for the Ravens, winning in two sets. Munoz played the first set without allowing a single point against her, and took the second 6-4.
