Rindge, N.H. (10/11/2025) - Franklin Pierce women's tennis matched up well against Assumption, ultimately falling 4-3. The team took two doubles matches, earning one point, and picked up two more in the singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ravens competed in three doubles spots, dropping the first, but picking up a win through Inez Gabarro and Candela Tortosa in their 6-2 win.
- Sara Gonzalez and Ana Munoz worked together to secure the doubles point for the Ravens. They fought hard against the Greyhounds pair, and ultimately came up on top, winning 6-4.
- In singles play, the Ravens earned their first point through Gabarro. After letting up the first set 1-6, she came back and only allowed two points over the second and third, winning both 6-1.
- Ainhoa Ordonez dropped her first set 1-6 as well, but was able to battle back. Ordonez took the second and third sets 6-2 and 6-0, respectively. She earned the final point for the Ravens.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens look ahead to their next match on Wednesday, October 15. They will travel to Colchester, V.T. to face Saint Michael's College at 2:00 p.m.
