COLCHESTER, Vt. 10/23/25 - After being postponed earlier in the season due to weather, the men finally got to face off against the Purple Knights. Even with some close single matches, the Ravens were unable to capitalize, losing 2-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Ravens would start the match in doubles play. The Ravens unfortunately lost all three doubles matches, being outplayed by the Purple Knights. 
• In singles play, Ruben Minguez (Barcelona, Spain) would in his match at #1 singles. After losing the second set, the third would consist of a battle between both players, with Minguez coming out on top with a score of 7-5. 
• Roman Gonzalez (Luarca, Spain) would also win his match with a dominant 2 set win going 6-2, 6-1. 
• Unfortunately, the Ravens would see losses in the rest of their singles matches. Daniel Garcia (Almeria, Spain) would have a thriller of a match. After losing the first set in a tiebreaker, he would come back to win the second match but ultimately lose it in the third. 
• Mathias Bonnefond (Chateauroux, France) would also see a close match. He would dominate the first set 6-1, but his opponent would come back to win the match in 3 sets. 

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens wrap up their fall portion of the 2025-26 season. They will look ahead to competing again in the spring of 2026.
