DUDLEY, Mass. 10/27/25 - Men's tennis faced off against Nichols College after a postponement earlier in the season. With a strong singles showing in the match, the Ravens were able to close out the fall portion of their season with a 5-2 win over the Bison.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At #1 doubles, Martin Dominguez (Vigo, Spain) and Ruben Minguez (Barcelona, Spain) were able to take down their opponents in a dominant 6-0 win. Although close matches among the other doubles pairings, the other two doubles teams fell short in their matches.
- However, singles play is where the Ravens really shined. Dominguez and Minguez put up strong performances against their opponents, winning in an easy two sets.
- Roman Gonzalez (Luarca, Spain) also played well against his opponent, going 6-2, 6-0 in both of his sets, earning another point for the Ravens
- At #6 singles, Ibai Lopez (Zaragoza, Spain) outplayed his opponent, also ending the match in a dominant two sets.
- The closest singles match was played by Orlando Guerrero (Pachuco, Mexico). After winning the first match and giving up the second to his opponent, he was forced to play a deciding third set. With a back-and-forth third set, Guerrero was able to close out with a 6-4 set to secure another point for the Ravens.
- After taking down the Ravens, the fall portion of their season would end with their only win of the fall portion of the season so far.
NEXT UP FOR THE RAVENS: Following this match with Nichols College, the Ravens have no more matches scheduled and will continue their season campaign in 2026 for the spring portion of the season.
