Ravens Power Past Molloy in 5-1 Win

RINDGE, N.H. 10/11/25 - Coming off an exciting overtime win over Mercy earlier in the week, the Ravens carried that momentum into their next NE10 matchup against Molloy University. Franklin Pierce saw five different players find the back of the cage resulting in a commanding 5-1 victory over the Lions.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The scoring opened in the first quarter off a penalty corner. Cece Keller (Biddeford, Maine) inserted the ball to Delaney Condon (Atkinson, N.H.), who fired a shot into the back of the cage for her first goal of the 2025 season.
  • Early in the second quarter, the Ravens extended their lead with two quick goals. Freshman Sydalia Savage (Skowhegan, Maine) connected with Reese Swanson (Somerset, Mass.) at the top of the circle, where Swanson drilled it into the bottom left corner. Less than a minute later, another Swanson shot deflected off Lions goalkeeper Kayla Balsamo, setting up Aria Caputo (Gloucester, Mass.) to slot home through traffic.
  • The Ravens struck again in the third quarter off another penalty corner. Abigail Tarka (Natick, Mass.) inserted to Nina Depew (Acton, Mass.), whose shot deflected off a Lions defender and back toward Tarka, who capitalized with her third goal of the season.
  • Later in the quarter, Lily Zavras (Worcester, Mass.) carried the ball into the circle and fired a shot that deflected to Jennifer Frost (Seabrook, N.H.), who swept it in for her first collegiate goal.
  • Molloy broke through in the final quarter when Katie Ogurick found the back of the cage, sneaking one past Ravens goalkeeper Zoe Noorlag (Amersfoort, Netherlands) to avoid the shutout.
  • Despite late pressure from the Lions, the Ravens close out a dominating 5-1 win.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • The Ravens would capitalize on 2 out of their 6 penalty corners.
