The first half saw several shots from both sides of the field. The Ravens were inches away from putting away a few of them in the net including a header just wide of the net from Aino Martikainen (Järvenpää, Finland) and a shot from inside the 18 from Gianna Derose (Brewster, N.Y.) that hit the side netting.

The second half was dominated by the Ravens as well. The opportunities were endless as crosses kept coming from Grace Martin (Millbury, Mass.) to give Claudia Peirce (Carver, Mass.) chances right from the top of the eight that she would send over the net.

The pressure did not stop for the Ravens. In the 70th minute, Kaitlyn S. Bautista (Scurry, Texas) had an opportunity from inside the box but was shut down by Griva who made a diving save. Olivia Kudrikow (Plymouth, Mass.) was there to follow up with a header that went just over the crossbar.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: Franklin Pierce returns to Sodexo Field on Wednesday when they host the Spartans of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The match is set for 4 PM and is the team's 2024 Faculty and Staff Appreciation game in honor of Jen Saylor.
