RINDGE, N.H. (09/18/24) - Six different Ravens recorded a goal as the Franklin Pierce University women's soccer team cruised to a 6-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College on Wednesday afternoon at Sodexo Field.

After multiple opportunities in the first 25 minutes, the Ravens opened the scoring when Claudia Peirce (Carver, Mass.) found Gianna Derose (Brewster, N.Y.) in the box on a corner kick.

Less than five minutes later, Mikayla Horton (East Islip, N.Y.) sent a dangerous ball into the box from the endline for Chastain Cassidy (Commack, N.Y.) who was able to get the ball past the STAC goalkeeper with a diving header.

The Ravens did not stop there. In the 48th minute, Ruby Conroy (Hawthorne, N.J.) battled with a Spartan to lay a ball to Jenni Huttunen (Suomi, Finland). Huttunen took a touch and sent a beautiful shot into the upper right corner of the goal.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: Franklin Pierce continues their stretch of home games when they host American International College on Saturday for their first NE10 matchup of the season. The match is set for 1 PM at Sodexo Field. It is the team's alumni day, be sure to rep your maroon and black!
