Franklin Pierce University

Sommer Ross enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team in 2022-23.

The Ravens are the first collegiate coaching stop for Ross, who joins the Franklin Pierce bench staff after wrapping up a four-year playing career with Hockey East member Holy Cross (bio). Over 96 career games with the Crusaders, she recorded 11 career points (7-4-11), 128 shots and 38 penalty minutes. She was a three-time Hockey East All-Acdaemic Team honoree.

Originally from Cumming, Ga., Ross is a 2022 graduate of Holy Cross, and is pursuing her master's degree at Franklin Pierce.
