Courtney Stone begins her second year on the Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey staff in 2025-26, serving as an Assistant Coach while completing her MBA in Sports Management.
Before arriving at Franklin Pierce, Stone spent four seasons behind the bench at Buffalo High School (Minn.), working with the girls' varsity program and serving as Head Coach for the junior varsity team. Her coaching background also includes roles with Minnesota's CCM High Performance Program (District 5) and the MGCHA Premier Prep League, where she helped guide a team to the 2024 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championships.
A former student-athlete at Bethel University (Minn.), Stone competed with the Royals from 2018-2020 before transitioning into coaching. She was a two-time AHCA All-Academic Scholar and a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative during her time at Bethel.
A native of Rogers, Minn., Stone graduated from Bethel in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in human services. She is passionate about helping athletes grow not only as players but also as people and sees hockey as a powerful space to build leadership, confidence, and create authentic connections with her athletes.
