Larry Dace enters his third season as a part of the football coaching staff at Franklin Pierce University in 2020-21. He serves as the team's recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach.
Franklin Pierce is the first collegiate coaching stop for Dace, who came to Rindge with a year as an assistant coach at the high school level under his belt. For the 2017 season, he served as the wide receivers and special teams coach at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, La. After his year with the Purple Knights, during which one of his players earned All-District accolades, Dace saw two of his players earn full scholarships at the Division II level. Dace spent the spring of 2018 working with the teams at JFK High School and Lake Area Early College High School before joining the Ravens for the 2018 season.
As an undergraduate, Dace was a three-year starter and five-year member of the team at Division I Tulane University, in New Orleans. In all, he appeared in 32 career games at wide receiver for his hometown Green Wave, including five starts. Dace finished his collegiate career with 26 catches for 294 yards (11.3 yards/catch) and one touchdown.
Originally from New Orleans, Dace is a 2017 graduate of Tulane, with degrees in business marketing and business management.
