ATTLEBORO, Mass. (9/5/26) - The men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Suffolk Short Course Invitational, with the men placing 5th and the women placing 11th.

HOW IT HAPPENED
For the men, the team placed 5th overall. Leading the way was Junior Sam Fortin (Hebron, Conn.), placing 9th with a time of 16:09.6. Senior John Viens (Berkshire, Vt.) followed in 33rd place with a time of 16:48.9 and closely behind him was Sophomore Noah Roberts (Westerly, R.I.) with a time of 16:54.2. Also putting impressive times were Senior Liam Doherty (Methuen, Mass.), Freshman Abner Neumann (St. Petersburg, Fla.), and Sophomore Gunner Currier (Canaan, N.H.).
As for the women, they placed 11th overall, showcasing some impressive rookie debuts. Erin O'Shea (New Ipswich, N.H.) led the team placing 7th with a time of 11:32.8, followed closely behind by Kaitlin O'Shea (New Ipswich, N.H.), with a time of 11:37.7. Freshman Brianna Flanagan (Litchfield, N.H.) also put on a strong performance, finishing with a time of 13:03.3. Melany Walker (Queens, N.Y.), Lauren Muldoon (Hampton, N.H.), and Lillian Byrne (Methuen, Mass.) finished the race with close times behind Flanagan.
NEXT UP FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will compete next at the 53rd UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 19th.
