RINDGE, N.H. - Franklin Pierce University fell 4-0 to Saint Anselm College in a non-conference field hockey match up Friday afternoon at Sodexo Field.
With the loss, the Ravens open the season with a 0-1 record.
Franklin Pierce battled against the No. 6-ranked team in the NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll, generating four penalty corner opportunities, with
Cece Keller and
Jocelyn Valleau each recorded a shot on goal for the Ravens.
Zoe Noorlag played all 60 minutes in goal for Franklin Pierce, making 16 saves on 20 shots on goal to keep her team within striking distance.
The Ravens return to action on Wednesday, September 9, when they host Saint Michael's College at Sodexo Field beginning at 4 p.m.
