KEEENE, N.H. (9/26/26) - The Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Union College on Saturday afternoon at the Keene ICE Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless opening period, Union broke through 1:40 into the second when Madi Gaines scored off an assist from Megan Duplantie to put the Garnet Chargers ahead, 1-0. Franklin Pierce continued to create chances throughout the period, including a pair of power-play opportunities, but could not find the equalizer.
- Union added to its lead with 3:09 remaining in the second period when Duplantie scored an unassisted power-play goal, making it a 2-0 game heading into the second intermission.
- The Ravens pushed for a comeback in the third, recording 13 shots on goal and earning three power-play opportunities. However, Union goaltender Emma Rheaume turned aside all 13 third-period shots, securing their victory over the Ravens. Rylee Eno (Uxbridge, Ontario) finished with 29 saves for Franklin Pierce, while Anna Caumo (Brunico, Italy) led the Ravens with four shots on goal.
NEXT UP FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will head to Saint Michael's College for their first series in conference play, starting on Friday, October 2nd at 7:00 PM.
