RINDGE, N.H. – The Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team opened its season with a 7-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer on Monday, winning all six singles matches.
The Ravens took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Ruben Minguez, and Sebastian Garcia earned a 6-4 win in the top spot, while Daniel Garcia and Samuel Borrego won 6-3 at No. 2.
Minguez followed with a 6-4, 7-6 win at No. 1 singles. Daniel Garcia (6-4, 6-2), Martin Dominguez (6-4, 6-4), Sebastian Garcia (6-2, 6-1), Borrego (6-2, 6-1) and Jaime Godoy (6-4, 6-2) completed the singles sweep.
