RINDGE, N.H. (5/7/26) - In Game 4 of the 2026 Northeast 10 Softball Championships, the fell to the Assumption Greyhounds despite a grand slam from freshman, Alicia Ott (Stockton, Calif.).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first inning, the Greyhounds took an early lead, scoring four runs after capitalizing fielding errors from the Ravens.
- The Greyhounds extended their lead in the second and third inning when Ella Leduc sent a run across the plate, and Molly Green sent a sacrifice fly to left field, bringing the score to 6-0.
- The Ravens broke through in the bottom of the third, cutting the deficit down after Alicia Ott (Stockton, Calif.) hit a grand slam, bringing four runs in.
- The Greyhounds would respond with a solo homerun from Kaylee Lacomb.
- The Ravens would continue to make a comeback as Taylor Ellis (Crandall, Texas) singled to left center field, followed by Delaney Duford (Concord, N.H.) scoring on a throwing error by third baseman in the fifth.
- In the seventh, Duford hit to left field looking for the walk off homerun with Ott at first but it was caught by the left fielder, stopping the Ravens' momentum and giving them a loss in the opening game to the championship.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will play against Southern New Hampshire University in Day 2 of the NE10 Softball Championships tomorrow at 12 PM. The winner will then move on to play in game 8 against the loser of Assumption vs Adelphi.
