SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (3/29/26) - In the final two games of the conference series against American International College, the Ravens were able to stay undefeated in conference play, led by a combined no-hitter from Georgia Clough (Barriere, British Columbia), Raylee Gilbert (Waterville, Maine), and Brooke Koehler (Surprise, Ariz.).
Game One – Franklin Pierce 13, AIC 0
The Ravens were able to control the game through five innings. The offensive surge started in the first inning when Delaney Duford (Concord, N.H.) doubled down the left field line, scoring the first run of the game.
In the second inning, Andie Anderson's (Phoenix, Ariz.) sacrifice bunt sent another run across the plate, followed by a two-run RBI double from Camryn Van Valkenburgh (San Dimas, Calif.). Charlit Hartenstein (Massapequa, N.Y.) sent a sacrifice fly ball to center field, bringing in Van Valkenburgh.
The Ravens continued to control the game from here, sending four more runs in the third, two in the fourth and two in the fifth. The Ravens ended the game in the fifth inning with a score of 13-0.
Georgia Clough (Barriere, British Columbia) provided key pitching throughout the game, followed by strong performances from Raylee Gilbert (Waterville, Maine) and Brooke Koehler (Surprise, Ariz.). All three pitchers never allowed a single hit from AIC, recording a combined no hitter to win the game.
Game Two – Franklin Pierce 1, AIC 0
In game two, the Ravens would score a lone run in the third period. Gilbert would send the ball to right field, bringing in Anderson.
In a decisive bottom of the third, AIC would load the bases. After Nevaeh Trejo fouled out to Maisie Lerette (New Gloucester, Maine), she would turn it into a double play opportunity, passing the ball to Duford, taking Lauryn Ramalho out home on the play.
Kennedy Morris (Stafford, Conn.) would relieve Gwenyth Canuel (Westport, Mass.) in the fourth, only allowing one hit to keep the Yellow Jackets scoreless, giving them the conference sweep, keeping them undefeated in the conference.
