Box Score 2 DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (3/29/26) – The Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team competed in a pair of matches in Florida this weekend, facing Eckerd College and No. 6 Embry-Riddle.
The Ravens opened the trip against Eckerd College, falling by a 5-2 final. Franklin Pierce picked up two points in singles play, as Mathias Bonnefond (Chateauroux, France) earned a win at No. 4 singles and Sam Borrego (Cuernavaca, Mexico) added a victory at No. 6 singles to account for the Ravens' points in the match.
Franklin Pierce then faced No. 6 Embry-Riddle, falling by a 7-0 final against one of the top teams in NCAA Division II. The Ravens did earn a strong result in doubles play, as the No. 1 doubles team of Ruben Minguez (Barcelona, Spain) and Bonnefond picked up a 7-5 victory over Embry-Riddle.
