KEENE, N.H. (3/14/26) – The Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team used a dominant fourth quarter to secure a 14-11 victory over Daemen on Saturday afternoon at Owl Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce struck first, jumping out to a 2-0 lead before the Wildcats answered. Goals from Julianna Lanzillo (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Maura Cogavin (Franklin, Mass.), with assists from Kelci Waters (Milford, N.H.), helped the Ravens close the opening quarter with a 5-1 advantage.
- Daemen battled back in the second quarter, scoring three unanswered goals to cut the deficit to 5-4 heading into halftime.
- The Wildcats carried that momentum into the third quarter and briefly took the lead, outscoring Franklin Pierce 4-2 in the frame to move ahead 8-7.
- Franklin Pierce responded when it mattered most. After Daemen opened the fourth quarter with two goals to extend its lead to 10-9, the Ravens erupted with five straight goals during a decisive stretch to regain control of the game.
- The late surge proved to be the difference as Franklin Pierce closed out the contest and secured the 14-11 victory.
