Mennillo Posts Career Night as Ravens Fall at SNHU, 63-58

MANCHESTER, N.H. (2/18/26) – Freshman guard Emily Mennillo (Orange, Conn.) delivered a career performance Wednesday evening, recording a career-high and season-high 26 points, but Franklin Pierce ultimately fell to Southern New Hampshire, 63-58, in Northeast 10 action at the Stan Spirou Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
  • Southern New Hampshire opened the game on an early run and built a 23-16 advantage after the first quarter. The Penmen extended their lead to as many as 17 in the second period, carrying a 40-25 edge into halftime.
  • The Ravens regrouped in the third quarter, matching SNHU point-for-point with 14 in the frame. Liv Murray (Salem, N.H.) knocked down a key three-pointer during the stretch, while Mennillo continued to attack offensively to keep Franklin Pierce within reach.
  • Trailing by 15 entering the fourth, the Ravens mounted their strongest push of the night. Franklin Pierce outscored the Penmen 19-9 in the final quarter, cutting the deficit to five late. Mennillo's aggressive drives and free throws sparked the rally, but the Ravens were unable to complete the comeback.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS 
  • Emily Mennillo finished with a career-high and season-high 26 points on 9-for-20 shooting, including two three-pointers and six made free throws.
  • Paula Falcon Luque (Malaga, Spain) added eight points and six rebounds, while Demi Albon (Craigeburn, Australia) pulled down eight rebounds to help anchor the effort on the glass.
  • Franklin Pierce scored 24 points in the paint and received 24 points from its bench. The Ravens shot 35 percent from the field and finished 9-for-14 from the free-throw line.
