HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sharks would score first when Addison Robillard would find Paige Vreeman on a powerplay opportunity. The Ravens would even the score on a power play opportunity on their own, with Bo Dean (Toronto, Ontario) finding the back of the net.
- In a quiet second period, the Ravens or Sharks were unable to produce any offense, leaving the third to be the deciding period.
- Vreeman would open the third period with her second goal of the game after being left in front of the net.
- The Ravens would immediately respond with a shot from McKenzie Grimm (Connellsville, Pa.) after an LIU player turned over the puck, setting up the perfect shot.
- With the Sharks scoring another goal, the Ravens were in need of another equalizer. The Ravens would scramble for the puck in front of the net, with the puck finding the stick of Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.), tying the game.
- With two minutes remaining in the game, Ava Weilandt was able to fire the puck past Rylee Eno (Uxbridge, Ontario), gaining the lead again. The Ravens tried to level the game again but were unable to capitalize, ending with the 4-3 loss over LIU.
