HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Adelphi jumped out to control in the opening half, using an efficient offensive stretch and pressure defense to take a 41–24 lead into the break. • The Ravens responded after halftime, scoring 47 points in the second half and shooting 54.3 percent from the floor. Leading the charge was Raymond Baka (Atlanta, Ga.) and Anthony Parker (Middletown, Conn.), both putting up big numbers for the Ravens. Following Baka and Parker were Dylan Goodman (Long Island, N.Y.) with 12 points.
  • Despite the offensive improvement, Adelphi maintained its advantage behind a balanced scoring attack. Mason Jackson led all scorers with 24 points and added six rebounds, while Al-Fatir Connor chipped in 18 points and Dayshaun Walton contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. Adelphi also held a slight edge on the glass and finished with 11 three-pointers to help keep the Ravens at bay.
