HOOKSETT, N.H. (1/24/2026) - Franklin Pierce men's ice hockey dropped game two of the weekend series at Southern New Hampshire University Saturday afternoon, falling 7-3 at The Ice Den Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Penmen began the first period with back-to-back goals within the first six minutes of play. Todd Branish cut the deficit to one goal in the 9th minute off assists from John Sterling and Isaiah Frankel.
- SNHU finished again, bring the score to 3-1 before the Ravens were able to find the back of the net again. In the final 15 seconds of the first period, Giovanni Ursillo sent the puck across the net to John Sterling who found Christ Foster in front of the net. Foster was able to tip the puck past the goaltender bringing the deficit back to one goal, going into the first intermission 3-2.
- Southern New Hampshire came out fast again in the second period, adding two more goals in the first four minutes, and a third in the 13th minute, bringing the score to 6-2. The Ravens continued to battle the Penmen, and found the back of the net themselves in the 14th minute. Off a pass from Douglas McGuire, Frankel found his way past the goalie to give the Ravens their third and final goal of the game. A final Penmen goal in the last three minutes of play would finalize the outcome at 7-3.
