RINDGE, N.H. (1/13/26) – The Franklin Pierce University women's basketball team erased an early deficit and led at halftime, but a decisive third-quarter run by Saint Michael's College proved to be the difference as the Ravens fell, 58–55, in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup Tuesday evening at The Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Michael's opened the game with an early push, holding Franklin Pierce to 11 points in the first quarter and taking a 16–11 lead after one. The Ravens responded in the second quarter, using improved shooting and defensive pressure to swing momentum.
- Franklin Pierce outscored Saint Michael's 23–8 in the second quarter. Three-pointers from Natalie Beaudoin (Lewiston, Maine) and Emily Mennillo (Orange, Conn.), along with a late basket from Lova Engren Wiorek (Stockholm, Sweden), capped an 11–2 run that gave the Ravens a 34–24 halftime advantage.
- Saint Michael's answered in the third quarter, outscoring Franklin Pierce 20–7 in the period. The Purple Knights tied the game at 40–40 with 4:16 remaining and moved ahead late at the free-throw line to take a 44–41 lead into the final quarter.
- The fourth quarter featured six ties and multiple lead changes. Armani Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) converted a layup to cut the deficit to two in the final minutes, but Saint Michael's converted key free throws down the stretch to secure the 58–55 victory.
