NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (9/20/25) - Franklin Pierce University men's tennis freshman Mathias Bonnefond (Chateauroux, France) has been named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Saturday.

Bonnefond earned the recognition after a strong showing at the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Men's East Regional Championship. Competing in doubles alongside teammate Roman Gonzalez, the pair advanced to the Round of 32 with a victory over Adelphi's Andrea Albiero and Leo Silverston. Their run came to a close against the No. 3 seeded duo of Don Vinz Lominoque and Nagamitsu Kuroda from St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Ravens return to action today with a non-conference matchup against Stonehill College before turning their attention back to NE10 play on Saturday, when they host Bentley at home in Rindge.
