RINDGE, N.H. (9/24/2025) - This Friday, the Franklin Pierce women's soccer team is set to kick off against Pace University at 7:00 p.m.. The team will dedicate their game to Pediatric Cancer Awareness, honoring the memory of Malia Jusczyk, a 14-year-old who battled relapsed neuroblastoma and passed away June 14, 2023.
The game will serve as a remembrance of Malia's strength and spirit, while raising awareness about pediatric cancer. The Franklin Pierce community will come together to support this cause with the team.
To support the cause, the women's soccer team will wear custom t-shirts designed by Glen Jusczyk, Malia's father. Glen shares a personal connection to the program through his former teammate and friend, Associate Head Coach Kevon Isa, both former members of the Mass Twisters Professional Indoor Team.
Franklin Pierce women's soccer encourages fans and community members to attend and show their support on Friday night at Sodexo Field. Franklin Pierce University and Franklin Pierce women's soccer look to inspire hope, raise awareness, and play for a cause bigger than themselves - coming together in the fight against pediatric cancer.
