RINDGE, N.H. (5/25/25) – In a winner-take-all Game 3 of the NCAA East Super Regional, the Franklin Pierce baseball team's season came to a dramatic end. Despite mounting a late comeback to tie the game in the ninth inning, the Ravens fell 7-6 to Felician University, who walked it off with a solo home run to punch their ticket to the NCAA Division II Baseball World Series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce struck early with three runs over the first two innings. The Ravens took a 2-0 lead in the first after Joey Acker scored on a bases-loaded walk and Ivan Arias came home on a sacrifice fly by Curt Boyd. An RBI single from Acker in the second stretched the lead to 3-0.
- Felician broke through in the fourth, scoring six runs, including a back-breaking grand slam by Matthew Scrivanic. The big inning erased Franklin Pierce's early advantage and put the Ravens in a 6-3 hole.
- Trailing by two in the eighth, the Ravens chipped away. Shane Hewlette drove in a run with a single and advanced to second on a throwing error. In the ninth, Kiobel Lugo came up clutch with a two-run homer to tie the game at 6-6.
- However, Felician had the final answer. Jaxson Wall led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk-off solo home run, sending the Golden Falcons to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Finals and ending the Ravens' postseason run.
