RINDGE, N.H. (2/15/25) – The Franklin Pierce women's basketball team secured a thrilling 63-61 victory over Pace University on Saturday at The Fieldhouse. A strong second-quarter surge, fueled by Leana Heitmann's sharp shooting, helped the Ravens erase an early deficit and take control.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sara Macary (Naugatuck, Conn.) opened the scoring with a solo drive to the basket, but Pace responded with five straight points.
- Leana Heitmann (Syracuse, N.Y.) hit multiple three-pointers in the second quarter, helping the Ravens erase an eight-point deficit and eventually take the lead on free throws from Heitmann and Liv Murray (33-31).
- Macary nailed a buzzer-beater to give the Ravens a 35-33 lead at halftime.
- Colette Mulderig (Scranton, Pa.) started the second half strong with back-to-back baskets, pushing the Ravens ahead 40-33, and they extended their lead to 47-35 in the third.
- A low-scoring fourth quarter saw Pace score five points and the Ravens three, with just two minutes left in the game.
- Despite late three-pointers from Pace's Stockinger and Collins, the Ravens held on for a 63-61 victory.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS:
- Colette Mulderig earned a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Ravens shot 46.3% from the field. The Setters shot 39.7%.
- The Ravens shot 40.0% from the three-pointer line. The Setters shot 31.3%.
