Ravens Battle to the Buzzer in Narrow Loss to Adelphi

RINDGE, N.H. (12/6/25) – In a wire-to-wire matchup that featured six ties and three lead changes, the Franklin Pierce men's basketball team came up just short in a 65–63 decision to Adelphi on Saturday afternoon inside The Fieldhouse. The Ravens led for more than 18 minutes and held momentum late, but a final-second Panther layup proved to be the difference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Anthony Parker powered the Ravens offensively, leading the team with 19 points while adding 7 rebounds and 4 assists to spark multiple second-half runs. 
  • Franklin Pierce held advantages in transition and on the offensive glass, posting an 8–4 fast-break edge and a 10–9 margin in second-chance points. 
  • Adelphi earned the deciding edge inside and at the line, winning points in the paint 36–26 and converting 81.3% of its free throws.

  • Al-Fatir Connor led the Ravens across the board, finishing with a game-high 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
