SMITHFIELD, R.I. (12/21/25) – The Franklin Pierce Ravens women's basketball team dropped a 72–45 decision to the Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bryant jumped out to an early advantage, taking a 17–9 lead after the opening quarter. The Bulldogs continued to build momentum in the second, outscoring Franklin Pierce 19–11 to carry a 36–20 lead into halftime.
- The Ravens showed improved offensive flow in the third quarter, led by Emily Mennillo and Laia Llorente, but Bryant answered with timely shooting to extend the margin to 58–34 heading into the final frame. The Bulldogs maintained control in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
- Emily Mennillo paced Franklin Pierce with a team-high 11 points, while Llorente added eight points. Angelisse Melendez chipped in seven points, and Armani Rivera and Natalie Beaudoin each contributed six.
- Bryant was led by Mia Mancini, who finished with a game-high 18 points, while Nia Scott added 12 points in the victory.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
- Bryant shot 44.6 percent from the field and held a 38–22 advantage on the glass.
- Franklin Pierce finished 90.9 percent at the free-throw line but was limited to 18.8 percent shooting from three-point range.
