HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Mercy opened the game with early momentum, building a 9–3 edge in the opening minutes, but Franklin Pierce quickly settled in behind Anthony Parker's perimeter shooting. After the Ravens regained control, Dylan Goodman buried a three to give Franklin Pierce its first lead, 13–12, midway through the first half.
  • The teams traded stretches over the next several minutes, but the Ravens closed the half with a flurry. Goodman tied the game at 39–39 with a three before Parker followed with another triple to put Franklin Pierce back in front. A late run capped by a Jalen Duff three in the final seconds sent the Ravens into the break with a 52–41 advantage.
  • Franklin Pierce carried that rhythm into the second half, consistently answering every Mercy push with timely baskets. Mercy made its strongest move late, trimming the deficit to 72–69 with 6:52 remaining, but the Ravens responded immediately. Goodman drilled a three to halt the rally, and Franklin Pierce followed with back-to-back finishes inside to extend the margin again.
  • Down the stretch, the Ravens closed efficiently at the free-throw line and in transition, highlighted by a Raymond Baka dunk in the final two minutes as Franklin Pierce secured the 92–75 win.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
  • Franklin Pierce shot 57.4% from the field and 15-of-27 (55.6%) from three, including 10 threes in the first half.
