CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (11/24/25) - For the first time in program history, the Franklin Pierce University football team has earned representation on the prestigious New England Football Writers Association Division II/III All-New England Team, as senior linebacker Geno Facchetti and sophomore defensive back Damir Stone were both selected on Monday.
The All-New England Team features 33 all-stars from 16 institutions across the five New England Division II and III conferences. Honorees are chosen by a committee of media relations professionals representing each conference, recognizing the top positional performers in New England from the 2025 season.
This year's team is headlined by 10 selections from the Northeast 10 Conference, including two Ravens.
Facchetti earns All-New England honors after delivering one of the most impactful defensive seasons ever recorded at Franklin Pierce. The senior became the first Raven to capture the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year award, anchoring a front-seven that ranked among the league's best. He totaled 62 tackles, including 39 solo, and led the conference with 15.5 tackles for loss for 69 yards. Facchetti's relentless pressure also helped the Ravens finish atop the NE10 in team sacks, while his 9.0 sacks set a new single-season program record.
Stone capped a breakout sophomore year by joining Facchetti on the All-New England Team, emerging as one of the most disruptive defensive backs in the region. He recorded three interceptions, multiple pass breakups, and became a major factor on special teams—returning two blocked kicks for touchdowns. Stone's ability to impact every phase of the game set him apart, and his 15 pass breakups led the NE10 and established a new single-season record for the Ravens.
